You could be right. However I mean that these are guys who have been observed over long periods of time, and never been seen with any woman ( or man ) They may appear to be stingy also, as they don't appear to spend money on others. Not that I'm criticizing, it's their money, if they want to just spend it on themselves that's their business. After all, foreigners don't owe Chinese women a living. I 've even done it myself, although I'm not in the super wealthy league. Like you said some people prefer to be alone. I don't like Chinese people annoying me after work hours. However to be alone for over a year or so would start to get to me.

If some can handle the isolation however, good luck to them. I'm not going to pass judgement on these what appear to be "forever singles".
