Well, some of the menus in picture form are quite good, SB. They even use them in the 'mad cow place' MCDonalds.

Unless unlike me you have a photographic memory you must have spent years in China doing hardly anything else with your free time but learning the wretched language. You must know all the sacrifices and abstinence you have to bear to learn Chinese. Other Westerners prefer to go to China and have fun. All power to their elbows is what I say. Maybe the language came easier to you than it did to me-you must be gifted. I find learning languages absolutely horrendous, and very very time-consuming.
