Here I agree. Much like a PGCE training how does watching a video of a teacher teaching middle class students in a posh part of Surrey, prepare you for a pack of interracial kids in a classroom in Manchester, or a classroom full of unruly arab or chinese boys?

The fact is language learning (much like language teaching!) can only be learnt by getting in a classroom and getting on with it!!
