Attractions of Jaipur

Jaipur is the proud of heritage Indian sate of Rajasthan. Located in the semi desert land, surrounded by beautiful Aravali hills with numerous forts, palaces and historic buildings, the city is the hub of tourist places. This fascinating land of Rajputs was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727, and is now increasing the grace of Rajasthan state as its capital. This is the first planned city of India and also famous by its name - ''Pink City''. It's massive forts and rich structures depict the proud story of victorious and prosperous Rajputana era. The topmost attractions of Jaipur are:

Amber Fort: Amber Fort is the live example of vigorous, royal, adventures, commanding and luxurious life of Rajputs. It is one of the best forts located at hilltop. The interior of the fort is extra ordinary and eye-catching. The complicated carvings on the walls and ceilings easily impose everyone to cut its finger.

Jaigarh Fort: It is the strongest fort of Jaipur, and it has the world's largest cannon - 'Jaivana'. It's flourishing green gardens and bird's-eye view are the prime attractions of this fort.

Nahargarh Fort: Located amidst the gorgeous Maan-Sagar Lake, the fort seems like a beautiful bird is swimming in the lake. It is the smallest among three forts.

City Palace: City Palace is counted among one of the renowned palaces of India. The architecture of the palace is the fusion of Rajput & Mughal architecture. This gorgeous palace complex is made of red and pink stone, spread over a large area which covers several separate sections-gardens, courtyards and buildings.

Jal Mahal (Water Palace): This beautiful palace is situated in between the way, that leads to Sisodia Rani Garden. This amazing palace is located in the center of splendid Man-Sarovar lake and it represents the prosperous Rajputana style of architecture.

Hawa Mahal: Hawa Mahal is a well-known landmark and one of the precious gems of Jaipur. This grand Building has proven wrong the famous saying - ''to build castles in the air''. Hawa Mahal is a five - storied building with its 953 windows, from each of which breezy wind passes.

Jantar-Mantar: Jantar Mantar (a magical device) is collection of architectural and astronomical instruments. It is the largest stone observatory in the world, that makes it a very special tourists spot.

Albert Hall: This magnificent structure is being inspired by the Victoria and Albert Museum of London. It is the finest example of Indo-Saracenic style of architecture.

Laxmi Narayan Temple: It is also known as Birla Temple or the Marble Temple. It is made of feather white marble, with beautiful carving works, which covers a huge area of the city.
