The amazing city has plenty of beautiful attractions, welcoming people and breathtaking surroundings to appreciate. • The Taj Mahal
One of the main reasons people come to Agra is to visit the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world. Dignifying love and peace, the huge mausoleum was built by emperor Mughal as a symbol of love for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Made of white marble, semi precious gemstones and endowed with spectacular architecture, the Taj Mahal is without a doubt an amazing attraction in Agra. In addition, the outside garden is another symbol of serenity and calmness opened for the people worldwide.

• The Agra Fort
Built by the same emperor Mughal, the fortress was a masterpiece of the 16th century utilized to rule the entire city. • Chini-Ka-Rauza (China Tomb)
Also known as the China Tomb, Chini-Ka-Rauza is an important Persian tomb constructed of glazed tiles and dedicated to Afzal Khan, a former prime minister in Akbar. • Fatehpur Sikri
This traditional place was conceptualized by Akbar the Great, an emperor who wanted to have kids but couldn’t. Thus, with the blessing of Saint Shaikh Salim in Sikri he managed to have 3 sons. For this reason, the emperor decided to establish a whole new city, in the honor of the saint entitled Fatehpur Sikri. Built between1569 and 1585, the fortress was about to be united with Agra but it ended up empty due to the lack of water reserves. Today, Fatehpur Sikri is a sacred place, untouched for 400 years. Regarding its architecture, the fort emphasizes Muslim and Hindu designs and the Mosque within the city is known to copy the Mecca.

• Sikandara
Sikandara is a well known mausoleum in Agra, started by emperor Mughal and completed by his son Jahangir. Combing fantastic Buddhist, Islamic, Hindu and Christian decorations, the construction is a sacred place to value religion. All around the mausoleum, the beautiful calligraphy inscriptions and the white marble designs are the perfect mix of tradition and culture of the 16th century. And since the fort warships emperor Mughal as well, his tomb is located in the center, near the tomb of his wife Mariam
