Why These Wildlife Sanctuaries in India are Most Popular?

India is a land of diverse culture and traditions. India is one of the leading countries in the world in the field of wildlife culture. Its richness in flora and fauna is one of the best parts of the country. Its diverse wildlife attracts many tourists from all over the world. The conserve and preserve the wildlife of India, the Indians have done lot of things to protect it. The multiple numbers of species present in the country’s wildlife makes it the most attractive part. A tour to wildlife is best for the ones who love to adventure a lot. The large size of India and its different weather and climatic conditions is enough to explain the vastness and significance of the country.

The vastness has resulted into 441 wildlife sanctuaries and 80 national parks. As wildlife sanctuaries and national parks are known for their large number of wildlife presence, individuals and private wildlife parks are better famous for their particular species of animals and birds. National parks and wildlife sanctuaries just like a living museums of god’s and nature creations which are spread through out the country. The landscapes, rock formations, various numbers of species and sub species are present in the wildlife sanctuaries. For a wildlife lover, India is a place which offers different types of animals and birds and a diverse fauna and flora. India’s wildlife is equipped with 500 species of reptiles, 15,000 species of plants and amphibians, 30,000 insect species and over 2000 species of sub species. India is purely a wildlife paradise with over 410 species of Indian mammals.

Some of the famous wildlife sanctuaries are Gir national park which is situated at Gujarat and is famous for Asiatic lions. The paradise for rhinoceros is famous in Kaziranga national park is situated in Assam. The elephant show is famous in periyar which is located at Kerala. As everybody knows tigers are the main asset of the wildlife and they are being extinct through out the years. But India government has taken some important steps to protect and conserve the wildlife sanctuary and especially the tiger reserves. Various tigers are present in the Kanha wildlife sanctuary, which are famous throughout the country.

The mangrove forest of the sunderbans national park is the most distinct habitat of the Bengal tigers. The Bengal tigers are famous all over the world especially the white tigers which actually looks the king of the world. Tiger is the national animal of India which itself is a great significance for the travelers coming from other counties through out the world. Estuarine crocodile, Indian python, water monitor, Olive Ridley, monitor lizard are some of the major animals located in the sundarbans of royal Bengal tiger. Ranthambore national park is best known for the tiger reserve project which is located at the largest state of India that is Rajasthan. It is situated at the mid of the city of Bharatpur and Kota. Nilgai, marsh crocodiles, jungle cats are some of the famous habitats of the wildlife sanctuary.
