A place filled with peace and spirituality is Varanasi, which attracts people from all corners of the world.

The land of Varanasi is also known as kashi, which is the oldest pilgrimage destination of Hindus since ages. The place is often called as Benares, which is the oldest city in the world.

Benaras is also called as the home of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The Hindu belief says, one who dies on the pious land of Varanasi is bound to attain freedom from the vicious circle of birth and death. The holy river Ganga flows in the city and it is believed that the pious river has the power to rinse away the human sins.
