I am a married, English (white, not that it makes a difference) woman and have been working as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language for 4 years. Soon I will be fully qualified to teach English Language and Literature to children between 11 and 18 years old. When I finish my training, my husband and I would like to leave England and live in Asia. There are so many countries we would love to work and live in and I would like some advice about India: Will I be able to find work? Will it be difficult to get work permits, visas etc? Will we be accepted by the locals? (We don't want to hang around with expats, we want to live Indian lifestyles as far as possible). All your advice is greatly appreciated.
