Hong Kong beats China 'hands down". If you've not been here but qualed get here. But China is just up the road and with a HK ID Card you get express Visa Service, cheaper too, to go there plus fast eChannel in and out of China. Cost of living is higher than China, but not by much recently. If you've never been to Hong Kong it is crowded, but 80% of Hong Kong is natural parkland and some of the finest whitest beaches in Asia. It is a mixture of many cultures and so much to do with all the international conveniences and arts, and so cheap to near Asian destinations. No Sales Tax too. What a lot of people don't know about a Hong Work Permit is that it belongs to you, not your employer = work freedom, unlike China.
