Teachers are responsible for delivering innovative lessons in English-language using our established curriculum to students of all ages. Our teachers receive ongoing training in the latest ESL methodologies, technologies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• To plan and deliver ESL lessons to children and adults
• To ensure and maintain proper levels of student discipline, welfare and safety of all students during the program
• Assist the Center Academic Director with testing and placement of new students in classes
• Ensure weekly attendance reports, progress reports and end of course reports are submitted to the Center Academic Director in a timely manner
• Attend and actively participate in relevant staff meetings
• Ensure that classes start and finish on time and that all teaching sessions are adequately prepared in advance
• Other duties as assigned

SELECTION CRITERIA:
Qualifications & Training
• CELTA, DELTA or other teaching qualification with practical training
• Proficiency in classroom technology, including digital whiteboards
Experience Required:
• At least one year of ESL classroom teaching experience
• Experience teaching ESL to children, teenagers and/or adults
Knowledge/Skills:
• Native level fluency of English
• Demonstrates effective communication, both written and verbal
• Demonstrates diplomacy, patience and flexibility which are essential when working with international students and group leaders with varying English abilities
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
