Canadian Curriculum School in Zambia Seeks ES/MS Teacher Immediatley

Foundation Steps Canadian International School is seeking a certified Canadian teacher for a 6 month teaching contract to teach grades 1 through 8 English Language Arts (Ontario-based curriculum). The focus of the school is to prepare students from a young age to enter into high school in Canada and ultimately attend university in Canada:
ZAMBIA:

Pre-K (1 to 4 yrs old)
Kindergarten (5yrs old)
Primary (Gr. 1-8)
Secondary (Gr. 9-11)
CANADA:

Grade 12 entry into a Canadian School in Hamilton
Graduation with an Ontario High School Diploma
Entry into a College or University in Canada or abroad.

Teachers will receive a Canadian dollar salary, new fully furnished apartment (with TV and Wifi), car with driver, maid, holidays, medical insurance, and flight reimbursement.

The school is seeking passionate teachers who are committed to caring for children, teaching with energy, and want to be part of a growing school with strong ties to Canada

Teacher Qualifications:

- Canadian citizenship
- Overseas experience (travel, volunteer, work) preferred.
- Bachelor of Education and Teaching Certification required.
- Ability to teach using technology
- Experience teaching preferred but not required.

Initial screening interviews will take place immediately for qualiifed candidates followed by a Skype call with the school. Position commences immediately.

Location: The school is located in Ndola, the third largest city in Zambia.
