Age: Not more than 55 Yrs, Single Candidate.

Package : INR 2 Lakh per month

Position Director – Guidance & College Placements

Responsible to Head of Senior School – Diploma Programme

Role
• Marketing of international students with a view to gaining quality admissions – Selling the school, academics & pastoral care.
• Interfacing with expat parents and community services with a view to providing feedback to the Principal – Focus groups
• Branding ‘School Image’ with leadership as USP.
• Spearhead a plan that effectively leads families through the admission steps from inquiry to enrollment and ensure settling in of international students- Transition Support Plan
• Provide transition support to expats and returning NRI (RNRIs). -Coordinate the role of other faculty in this process

Key Competency Requirements
• Thorough Knowledge of US &/or UK higher education systems
• Good awareness of application requirements and processes
• Excellent College – Application Essay editing skills
• A Pastoral / Counseling background
• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written expression
• Understanding of ‘market trends’ in education
• Planning and foresight and ability to set and achieve goals
• Team work and understanding team dynamics
• High energy, initiative and drive

Specific Responsibilities

• Educating students & parents on the many international higher education system and application to these
• Educate students & parents on how to utilize vacations from Grade 9 onwards to optimize competitiveness of applicant
• Share & promote key application deadlines
• Active hands on support of entire application process – help students with forms, essays etc
• Administrative support of application process – PDF all documents- complete on line school requirements – e.g. school reports
• Write entertaining, anecdotal and original recommendations for each student
• Guide Grade 11 admits regarding subject choices for various careers
• Organize admissions to include briefing and “walk-around” for potential parents
• Interaction with Corporations, MNCs, other educational institutes and expat / RNRI parents
• Organize “out-of-campus” select meetings with potential parents, with a view to project positive image of Group school, and facilitate admissions of their wards
• Provide transition support to expats and returning NRI, to include regular feedbacks and managing pastoral / pedagogic issues
• Plan recruitment of expat faculty as and when necessary
• Implement strategies for retention of expat faculty
• Provide feedbacks from expat community and monitor follow-up action.
• Develop and continually refine a comprehensive communication programme that, promotes awareness and appreciation of group School among community, and existing and potential parents
