Job Description
Heart English School is seeking candidates for ongoing positions in Japanese public schools.
Positions are in elementary, junior high, and high schools, with locations all across eastern Japan,
with the largest focus on the Kanto region near Saitama, in a wide range of environments.
Contracts range in amount of working days and hours, so those looking for more freedom regarding
working schedules may have interest in addition to those wishing to work all school days.
The work involves the education and internationalization of Japanese young people in their own
environment. ALTs teach during classtime, but also eat with students at lunch, play with them during
recess or during sports practice, and in general socialize with the children to give them the chance
to use English naturally with a native speaker.
The work is very rewarding and the chance to impact hundreds of lives is there,
with the many joys and responsibilities that go along with it.
Requirements:
-Native English Speaking ability
-Valid working visa or ability to be sponsored (being able to provide physical proof of holding a BA/BS degree or higher)
-Real enjoyment in working with children and impacting them positively
Recommendations/preferences but not required for some positions:
-Japanese language ability
-Experience teaching English or living in Japan
-Driving ability for some locations
Heart English School can assist if necessary with:
-Full training and orientation
-Finding accomodation
-Arranging a rental car
-Visa sponsorship
Heart English School hopes to receive your application soon. Please let me know your Name, Gender,
Nationality, Visa Type in Japan, and e-mail address.
Please contact us any time if you have questions for working in a Japanese public school,
whether in the near future or looking forward toward the new school year.
