I've been planning to go to Japan for quite some time.
I have studied Japanese for 1 year so I can get to conversational level.
I read everything up to 500 kanji.
I speak basic conversational level....

I've made many friends that live in Japan now. I met them in my city. I was deciding which city is better for me.. Osaka or Tokyo...

I eventually decided to live in Tokyo!

Early next year I want to go there... I've done a lot of research, but I want to hear from people that have lived there or are living there.

Can you please tell me about the everyday costs of life in Tokyo?
Average Apartment prices..etc
My Japanese friend says I would pay about $600-$1,000 for an apartment per month.

Depending of where of course haha

Could you name some good areas for cheaper prices?

Can you tell me about the general life in Tokyo?
