I'm also close to applying to Aeon, so I've hunted long and hard for some first-hand reports on it. Though I've heard vague references to horror stories, I haven't found a single one, no seriously negative reports from either employees or customers, not even disgruntled rants. There were some testimonial accounts from a counselor at the labor ministry who took complaints (sorry, can't remember the link), but that was dated back in 1999, and it sounded like it was in reference to problems a few years before that.

However, General Union has an Aeon branch and has represented employee rights there: http://www.generalunion.org/aeon/ There are a few items to keep an eye on, far fewer than the other branches, and it looks like Aeon corrects problems swiftly and relatively painlessly.

My conclusion is that although you may have the same less-than-pleasant experiences with co-workers, supervisors or students that you would in any job, you won't have to deal with major screwage from the corporation itself.
