First of all, he wouldn't ask for a job in Japan, if there's a job in US. For instance, in my country it's HARD to even find a job. To even get a job, you need to have 3 things. 1: work experience, 2: driving license and 3: a person who is offering you a job. If you don't have all of 3 things solved, no job for you. Only option I have is to look for a job somewhere else. I'm currently looking for a job in Japan, in market or IT business. However, the best advice I can give is...visit Japanese Embassy and ask them. They should provide some valuable information about your dream. Every case is individual, so don't let others scare you with their stories...
