I'm looking to move to Japan early next year and the goal is to teach english there for a year or so.

I'm looking to be near Tokyo as my Girlfriend will be studying there at the same time, and the closer I can be to her, the better :)

I am just wondering what type of qualifications people have or know are needed to Teach around here, and Japan in general.

I already have a bachelor's degree and am about to start A Cert III Tesol course. Would be people suggest a Cert III, or maybe less (like a foundation course) or more (like a Cert IV)?

I'm also coming from Australia
