Travel, Teach, Live in Japan
Hello,
I've done a lot of snowboarding in Japan, It's excellent - really good snow - and lots of it!! One of our problems though, was what to do in the evening... there simply is nothing... anyway - we've been here about 4 years now and been all over the place - Nagano, Niigata, Yamanashi, Hokaido.. etc.. and last season we discovered a place - close to tokyo (3hour drive or 2hrs by train).. THE place, in Naeba resort -in Asagai snowboard park theres a place called Snodeck (its a bar/restaurant) and it rocks!! - they have DJ's from Tokyo everyweekend - and its like a melting pot of Japanese, and foreigner.. anyway - thought you should all know - if you want a little bit extra - Naeba - 'Snodeck' is it.
Thought I should post about it cos i think its something thats cool, the people who run it are lovely - and I promised them that I would pass a good thing on!! so google it
