Look into the T.A.L.K. program, it is made for college students to come teach for 6 months. It is actually the only way to get a short-term contract in Korea. I met many cool people who did this program (I worked with EPIK in Gyeongsangbuk-do), you can also extend your contract 2x totaling 1.5 years.

There are also tons of scholarships for undergrads that want to study Korean culture, language or history. check out www.studyinkorea.go.kr for info.
