Most Korean schools will not hire Asian teachers of English or anyone who looks remotely Asian, the sad assumption being that they're not competent to do the job (even if they were born and raised in the UK/USA). Remember also that English Schools in Korea are little more than movie sets where the principal actors are blonde haired and blue eyed. It's about the money. That's all.
