I am filling out my health statement, and came across the narcotics question. The question reads:

"have you ever tried narcotics or been addicted to alcohol"

I have tried marijuana, but am clean and afraid to state I tried it, because they look down on marijuana use terribly in Korea. My question is,

1. If I say I have never tried it, what testing procedures will be done upon my arrival into Korea? blood test, hair test, urinalysis?

2. I have a possession of marijuana misdemeanor on my record. Do you think they will perform a nationwide background check in Korea?
