New E-2 Visa qualifications
By:answers.yahoo.com
This is more for information for foreigners than a question. I got a bulletin at my university that there will be two more requirements effective Dec. 15, 2007 to extend your E-2 visa. It's only applicable to those with E-2 Visas.
1) Criminal Record Check (Certificate)
- you can get this from the embassy of your country in Korea
- you have to call and ask your embassy in detail because every country has its own prodecures and expenses to get this.
2) Health Certificate
- you have to get this from National Hospital or General Hospital in Korea.
What do you think about this?
In my opinion: it's a hassle, but at least we don't have to leave the country.
