Some Conspicuous Points For the Use of Travelers, Demarcated on the Map of Korea

A Korea map clearly shows the division of Korean peninsula into two sovereign countries, North Korea and South Korea. Korean Peninsula, in North East Asia, is separated from China by Amnok River Russia from Duman River. To its east is the Sea of Japan, to its west is Yellow sea and to its south, is East China Sea. In such a map of Korea, there are some conspicuous points, mentioned below, that prove beneficial for the tourists on their visit to the country.

Seoul, a capital city of South Korea, is the most conspicuous of all cities marked on the map of Korea. The city is famous for shopping all through the day and night. Large number of shopping centers, departmental stores, markets and other shopping areas cater to the taste and need of every traveler, as they take into consideration several factors such as taste and budget. One of the great features of these shopping centers is that these are located near attractions such as aquariums, amusements parks and other places of interest for tourists.

Kyongju, the Korean city, is an open air museum with myriad of temples, pagodas, palaces and sculptures, depicting Korean Buddhist art. Asian architecture is best displayed in this city of Korea as the uniqueness of Korean traditional architecture has given it a place in the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. Apart from these cities, there are some of the most famous attractions. Few of them are described below:-

• Millennium Plaza- it is a landmark in Seoul that possess a uniquely shaped building. Glass walls inside and greenery outside presents a spectacular view. One can easily find food courts and stores at basement and first floors, while rests are covered with office space. There is also a space for music and dance performances from recreational point of view for Korean youth.
• Myung-dong Street- it is one of the most exclusive streets with lot of nicknames such as 'Golden Place', 'Mecca of Fashion' and 'Young People's Street'. Some of the best fashion designers such as Mook, Prada and Ssamzie etc... sell their clothes on this street. Festival, fashion shows, concerts and several other events take place on this street.
• Admiral Yi Sun Shin Statue Se- it is the majestic statue that watches over Sejongro Boulevard, the main street, leading to Kyongbuk Palace. It was built in the honor of Admiral Yi Sun Shin, a national hero and a naval commander, known for his accomplishments. He invented first iron clad ships in the world, known with the nickname of 'turtle ships'
