Re: Survival Korean for ESL Teachers
In Response To: Survival Korean for ESL Teachers (Robin Tim Day, B.Sc. M.Sc. B.Ed.)
I really liked this list. Thank you for putting it together. However, I do have a question. When I was at the ESL teacher's week-long orientation that was put together by the province office, we were told not to use any Korean in the classroom. My Korean co-teacher is constantly translating what I say. So the kids don't really have to stretch to try to understand me or to communicate with me. What do you think my response needs to be? And how much Korean do you use in the classroom? Thanks!
