Colegio Internacional Puerto La Cruz (CIPLC), is a PreK-12 international school located in the beautiful Venezuelan resort town of Puerto La Cruz. We offer fully accredited academic and after-school activities and services ranging from music, drama, and sports, to the children of local and ex-pat parents in the area. Class sizes average 6-12, so the student to teacher ratio is very low.

Colegio Internacional Puerto La Cruz strives to develop lifelong learners through the use of an American-based curriculum. The school community works together to recognize and cultivate the full potential of each student and produce effective communicators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible global citizens.

Colegio Internacional Puerto La Cruz (CIPLC), established in 1997, is a private, co-educational American international school located in Barcelona, Venezuela. We offer a rigorous college-preparatory program which prepares students for entrance into U.S. colleges and universities. CIPLC follows an American curriculum and is fully accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools (SACS). CIPLC is composed of three divisions:Elementary School – Pre-School – Grade 5, Middle School – Grades 6 – 8; and High School – Grades 9
– 12. Graduating seniors earn an American High School Diploma.

CIPLC provides for the education of children of American and international families living and working in the Puerto La Cruz area. Currently there are more than one hundred fifty students enrolled in grades Pre-School – 12. Our student body consists of students from eleven nations including the United States, Argentina, China, Colombia, Ecuador, India, Italy, Malaysia, Norway, United Kingdom and Venezuela.
