School:Instituto San Roberto

Instituto San Roberto was founded in 1982 at the present San Agustin campus in the Garza Garcia area of Monterrey. The school originated with four pre-school classrooms and has grown to become a vibrant institution offering programs from pre-nursery to ninth grade in 58 classrooms. In 2002, Instituto San Roberto was granted full accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). In June 2003, the institute was also admitted to the Association of American Schools in the Republic of Mexico. At present, there are over 1400 students registered at this campus representing 12 nationalities.

Bilingual Education
Ensures that students communicate with clarity, purpose and understanding of audience in both English and Spanish.

Values Program
Encouraging students to find the meaning and importance of their life, within the framework of our Catholic religion, while respecting other beliefs and religions.

State-of-the-art Education
Offering our students the most recent methodologies in educational systems that have proven to be effective in other parts of the world. These systems are adapted to our culture with the purpose of ensuring their successful implementation.

Limited Number of Groups in each Campus
This allows for the cooperation and interaction between parents and the school staff to form a large "San Roberto Family", and to work together as one so as to achieve our high standards in education.

Co-educational Environment
Reflects the society in which we live, in which men and women should interact together in the social, professional and educational environment.

Active and Participative Learning
The San Roberto educational system is based on learning philosophies that promote active and pariticipative learning. Innovative teaching-learning systems and methodologies are applied based on individual practice, cooperative learning, creativity development, as well as an environment rich in stimuli. In general, a meaningful learning experience for students is desired.
