Barker College, which has always offered a double curricula, i.e. an official one, and a second one leading to Cambridge ESOL examinations (FCE, CAE, CPE) IGCSE, ICE and AICE school examinations, has now integrated into a single bilingual plan as from 4+. The timetable, with fifty-odd 40 minutes periods of class per week, including Physical Education, is demanding and leaves scant margin for extracurricular activities. Nevertheless, cultural events and sports occupy a very important place in the lives of Barker College students.
