Well, for one thing, being a nurse myself in the US,I can inform you that you are not necessarily "guaranteed" good health care in this country all the time, either. Some 50 million people have no insurance in this country either and are often treated as persona non grata in the ED, too. Also, your absolutely hysterical behavior ( and I don't mean "funny") while dealing with "foreigners" all but guaranteed that communication would break down and that you would antagonize those around you. Sorry to be so blunt, but you should hear it, for the next time. A strep throat is not a life-threatening condition, although you behaved the entire time as though it was....No wonder they were so put off by you. Next time try to remain polite and unabusive and, even if not feeling well, try to meet the others at least half-way. I know it's hard for Americans to do this, but believe it or not we are no longer masters of the world (never were).......
