Working for a Training Center in Xiamen, I know all about the illegal teacher trade. It's one of the many ways that help these training centers in their ongoing mission to screw the legitimate teachers. With a steady supply of Xiamen University students to fill their requirements they can cut back on FT teachers, our pay and break our contracts. At a recent end of year party, you would not even known that it was an English school with 3 foreign teachers and 50 Chinese staff. The whole thing was in Chinese. All it boiled down to was Chinese people patting themselves on the back. No thanks given to the hard work of the teachers. They try not to even consider that the reason their customers come there in the first place is because of their under-appreciated Laowai staff
