I've been going over a lot of posts from this site and I'd really like to hear your views on my case.

I am a licensed teacher from the Philippines with 6 years of teaching experience. Because of my marriage to a (Chinese) former co-teacher in an international school in another country, I am now in China. We have planned to actually put up an English remedial school in a small city in the northern part as a start. Once the fundings are enough, we plan to establish a preparatory school. My husband did not know then that putting up a small-scale school to help the students in his city would not help me get a Z visa. Only schools with the SAFEA license can actually hire foreign teachers.

I tried searching and applying for teaching positions in the schools within the province but all of them demand a native English speaker or specify certain countries. I usually disregard the indication on nationality and send my CV and other documents but none has ever responded. Despite my bachelor's degree, master's degree, prior teaching experiences and my passion to do my craft - teaching, there seems to be no chance I could ever get a Z visa. :(
