Thanks for providing the link. I'm happy to learn that those American entrepreneurs are cashing in on the extensive and unnecessary red tape of Chinese beaurocracy imposed on New Yorkers wishing to visit China while assisting their fellow citizens to enter the PRC and by doing the necessary paperwork for other embassy-related matters, such as the issuance or renewal of a Chinese passport.

It's clear the Chinese authorities distrust laowei massively. We Westerners are definitely classified by them as real aliens, just like Martians who landed on our planet would be. The Chinese have made it very difficult for us to qualify for a Chinese passport. I dunno why, because we don't want one!

Your handle implies you're a fan of English football. That's because it's a phrase that's been coined by that much-respected former presenter of BBC's Countdown TV show, Stuart Hall. He also used to give eloquent match reports on the BBC World Service, but he was axed during December amidst accusations of being a dirty old man. I hope he can clear his name. We needn't more dirt, Jimmy Saville is more than enough for us Brit expats to take in. Dirty deeds, oh my my!

Even though China is by no means perfect, I still prefer the PRC to the PR of Wigan! However, Wigan Football Club's half-time pies are praised highly for their excellent taste. Even so, I'll stick to my daily fix of spicy mutton hot pot washed down with cheap Chinese beer, here in Hohhot!
