Hong Kong should be doable, but not for guangdong province. Not fishing for info on your province btw, but it seems it is still based on province. Hebei also needs one to return home, as does Beijing. I do believe a 2 year RP is available in Shang Hai and possibly beijing now. As long as the province in question still allows a HK visa run, then HK should suffice.
