Supporting a wife is a must and is not illegal. Working on an L or other than a Z visa is illegal, and there is no excuse for not respecting and following Chinese law. It is always amazing to see people who claim high moral standards for themselves in other matters as self-appointed instances of self-righteousness to turn out as the real low-live that they are in thinking they have right to disobey Chinese law.

No, you and those others involved have no such right and you also have no right to expect to be employed as teachers or deechers when you are only desperate for a job and otherwise lack all the qualifications and personality requirements that entitle you to work in education. People like you do more harm than any good to their Chinese students, the schools or "schools" they work for and on top of that form an active part of the scam that is involved in this. Folks like that are really guilty by association and you should not expect any sympathies or acceptance from more decent Western teachers in China. [edited]

In that, I am "racist" enough to say this pestilence needs to be wiped out and extinguished forever!

How is supporting your wife in China an illegal thing?
