Further to your reply to my post, I'll add that your reply does not answer my post directly. I did say 'if.........' I did not advise readers to undertake homeland medicals. Unlike you, I'll comment on your post appropriately by agreeing with it, except for your non-recommendation, including the 'document stamps' part, which consitutes your usual bullshit!

The 'usual bullshit bit' of providing your own medical certificate absolutely, is only possible if you already have a copy of certain values or know enough about blood tests, etc, to get away with it- to be able to fill in the certificate yourself. Has been done but don't do it.

Unlike you I unequivocally suggest that FT' refuse to undertake any medical outside of China; one can find a job on one's own terms to a certain degree. That will save the arguing the toss when they get to China that you appear to be giving them tuition for. As for who pays for the medical; well, traditionally the Chinese should; however, if your wages and other benefits are really high you might not feel like digging your heels in over that one. You should advise newbie FT's to avoid getting bolshy as soon as they get to the company. Save getting stroppy until you really need to do so. Box clever, that's a good chap.
