Or to use my new found favourite saying: "When the cup is full, it's full!" and in the case of chinese and medicals and damned visas and their lies and costs, the cup is not only full, it is overflowing! It is as hard or harder than Saudi Arabia to get a Chinese visa now, and that is a fact! End of!!

You should fast-track your Chinese visas by marrying a Chinese lady. Then you can work illegally. I don't because I need to look after our baby. That said I don't know what the problem is. All you do is apply for a job which doesn't require you to bring your own medical. You limp down the local constabulary after a bellyful of beer and ask for your police check certificate. You then sit back and wait for your new employers to send you all the paperwork for you to apply to the Chinese embassy for a visa. if you weren't caught red-handed rodgering the local communist party's bit of stuff then job done, you will get your Z Visa.
