Language Social Network for Teachers, Students and Schools

Talk2Prof aims to become the world’s premier marketplace for languages, bringing Students, Teachers and Schools closer together in a free social & professional network experience. Our members come from all over world and you can learn or teach virtually every language such as: English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Italian, German, Japanese, Portuguese etc.

How does it work?

Decide if you wish to register as an online language student, teacher or school and then create your free profile. Once complete you will receive a confirmation email of your membership. Then you just click the link contained in the confirmation email and log in to talk2prof.com to begin making friends, finding teachers or schools and even chatting live with other members in a facebook style social network.

What are EduCredits?

Talk2Prof also offers its community one of the most innovative and fun ways to pay for a language course, by earning or purchasing EduCredits which is our very own internal form of currency. By completing rewarding actions within the social network you can earn various amounts of EduCredits which can then be used (Donated) to a teacher to help pay for the teacher’s hourly rate! Collect enough EduCredits and you could soon be studying for free even though the teacher (or school) still earns! EduCredits can be earnt by performing actions such as:

Leaving comments

Creating a group

Creating a new topic in a forum

Making a new “Friend”

or even just logging in every day!

These are just some of the many many ways you could soon study a language for free… or at least cheaper!

Why should a student join?

A student can connect in a simple to use social network with other language students creating study groups for language exchange for example. They can also find experienced teachers of their choice to follow a formal language course with teachers all over the world who teach virtually every language or alternatively they can also find language schools in their area to discuss a possible course or perhaps even an online language school to learn over Skype, Messenger or other VoIP systems.

EduCredits are probably the biggest incentive to join. Talk2Prof’s very own reward system which enables language students, teachers and schools to work within the wider community even at no cost!

Why should a Teacher join?

Firstly talk2prof offers a free social & professional network for the entire language learning industry (English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Russian, Portuguese etc.) which brings students, teachers & schools closer together in a productive networking environment. Simple to use and with a global subscriber base, talk2prof offers not only the chance to increase a teachers income but also the opportunity to find other schools around the world to work for solving the issue of finding new jobs each time a teacher wishes to change country. Thus talk2prof offers more than just the typical social network for languages. plus… did we mention its FREE to join?!

Why should a School join?

Schools have always 2 main problems… more students and enough qualified experienced teachers to teach them! Talk2Prof offers not only the opportunity to find new students either in their location or for on-line language courses (English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Russian, Portuguese etc.), but it also offers an excellent human resources solution by allowing Schools to contact or advertise for teachers where they can already have a reasonable idea of their ability as a teacher by researching the teacher’s activity within the community… oh and did I mention its FREE to join?!
