Motivation Tips

Motivation Advice - 6 Keys to Motivation
By:Anthony D Carter

1. Focus: Keep your attention on what you want. The tendency is to focus on the dreadful aspects of the tasks that we have to do in order get what we want. Do the opposite. Instead keep your mind centered on the desired outcomes and you will find the motivation to get the work done.

2. List: A to-do list works wonders for building momentum and eliminating broken focus. When you start each day with a to-do list you begin armed with a plan. Each time you accomplish a task on that list you get positive reinforcement. You feel like you are making progress and that motivates you to keep the roll going.

3. Enjoy: Enjoy the journey. Have fun with the necessary task that you have to perform. Find something about them that is pleasurable and make that your aim.

4. Accountability: Let some like minded people know what you are striving to accomplish. It is even better if you can find and associate with a group of people who are trying to hit the some goal. You will all motivate and excite each other as you progress towards your goals.

5. Procrastinate later: Put off procrastinating until later. When you have something to do tell yourself to do it now. Do not wait to a later time to do tasks. Develop a habit of taking the initiative to make things happen rather than waiting for better conditions to occur before you even start.

6. Expectancy: Build up the desired outcome in your mind. Get a vivid picture of it and hold onto that vision. Believe that you will get what you want and it will be easier to remain motivated to do what it takes to get it.
