Motivation Tips

Some Tips On Reducing Anxiety
By:aziz omar

* Drink a glass of water.

One glass of water won’t be enough for a body that is more than mildly dehydrated.

* Meditate.

Reserve 15 minutes to sit in silence and focus on nothing.

* Initiate a anxiety box.

Put in writing all of your uncertainties on a piece(s) of paper and put the sheet(s) of paper into the box, and put in safekeeping it away on a lofty ledge nearby. Prompt yourself that you don’t have to be troubled about anything right now because you’ve placed your worries in that box.

* Blank your thoughts with free writing.

Write your feelings down (don’t worry about making them neat or systematic, just jot them out). In the long run you will exercise your mind to focus on the task at hand and let go of needless arbitrary feelings.

* Journal your journey.

Put in writing down your achievements, innovate ways to overcome obstacles, and chronicle solutions that worked for you. When you feel in need of motivation, go back and read a few pages and let it inspire you! It’s easy to put behind you how pleasant a certain achievement made you feel at the time, and this is a good way to remind yourself that you are competent of more than you appreciate.

* Sip some tea or coffee.

It has proven to be a mental stimulator unless you have a situation that is aggravated by caffeine. Try to keep away from adding sugar, or drinking those sugar-laden caffeinated beverages. Too much sugar can put you in a worse spot than you started in.

* Fuel your body.

Start off the day with a wholesome breakfast. Stick with lean protein and high-fiber complex carbohydrates, vegetables and fruit, along with limited amounts of healthy fats. Throughout the day eat small meals and snacks. This will help keep your blood sugar level more balanced – which can give you the staying power to keep moving forward!

* Take a break.

Nothing results in burnout more rapidly than pushing yourself too hard,too often, for too long! If you’ve been burning the midnight oil too often, take some time off. Even a few hours of recreation and fun will be more effective than any motivational techniques.

* Take a nap.

If you’re feeling sluggish and can't concentrate, allow 15-30 minutes of nap. Apart from renewing your physical energy, it can improve your concentration so you’ll get more done in less time.

* Smell something nice.

Aromatherapy is a good way to stimulate your mind and body, or simply create pleasing feelings associated with scents. Inhale peppermint, rosemary, cinnamon, lemon, or orange by putting a few drops onto a handkerchief when you need a little stimulation.
