3 Easy Ways to Improve Your Confidence

Confidence makes your problems shrink and brings your goals into the palm of your hand. Some people just seem to have it and others don't. So where do they get it from? What makes them different? Here are 3 easy ways to get yourself that cast iron confidence and change your state of mind for the better.

1: Be pro active rather than reactive.

This is very important for a number of reasons. If you are proactive, you are saying 'I will be more assertive.' You are taking control of your life. You will find this empowering and the spiral is a positive upwards pattern of thinking which will keep your confidence growing day by day. Being reactive is allowing outside influence to affect your mood. Confidence is 90% psychological.

Think about all your goals, fears, hopes and dreams. Now think about which of these things you can influence and which you cannot. Act on those things within your influence and forget about those which are not. Try this for one hour. See the difference to your self esteem and confidence after doing this.

2: Do some exercise.

If you exercise, you will release endorphins which change the balance of your brain chemistry. This will usually last for a day, will help you sleep and will actually change the way you process information. It is important to think positively at all time. Every thought has a positive slant.

For example: You could say, 'I wish I wasn't so tired.' Instead, take the positive route and focus on what you want not on the negative. The correct thought would be, 'I wish I had more energy.' This simple distinction will flip your mindset to focusing on having more energy and you will be drawn to this. Without exception, every single thought can be treated in this way.

Try it, and be mindful of your thoughts. If you do this often enough, bear in mind that the goal is to become trained to think this way. Your confidence will sky rocket.

3: Reprogramme your mind to be confident.

This is the most effective way to change your mind set. Speak to a hypnotherapist or download an MP3 from a trained hypnotherapist who deals with confidence. You can relax and allow the MP3 to reprogramme your subconscious to do all of this automatically.

Once your confidence is increased, your problems shrink and it becomes a self - fulfilling prophesy. You will find it easier and easier to be at your best, and yet improving day by day.
