What should I be doing to make my life work right? This is up there with the other big questions, what happens when I die, why am I here, who am I really?

It could be called - how to make your life work, or how to understand what makes life work, or how to make your life be what you want it to be.

How do you get there from here?

I have spend many years mulling over this question. Many years reading a multitude of books. And would you believe it, I do believe that I have an answer. I am so excited about it, that I want to share it with anyone who wants to know and anyone who wants to hear what I believe is my truth. It may not be yours, but you have the choice to toss it out if it doesn't resonate with you.

And basically what is it all about anyway.... On the surface our world appears to be chaos, we appear on the planet for a short space of time, we live for a short period (relatively speaking in the big picture) and then we disappear, how do we make sense of it? And where do we go after death. Am I still me?

The world is so heart renderingly beautiful and yet filled with such darkness, anger and pain. Conversely there is oceans of love and light here too. Such opposites occupying the same planet..... how can this be?

These and other questions consumed me and I spent many years, reading mountains of literature, immersed in mainstream religions and esoteric teachings. All this learning I did on my own, without finding a mentor or organisation to guide or lead me. And when the internet arrived, I dived in and wallowed in all the information available, each site leading me on to more information and starting to make some sense.

Generally the vast amount of knowledge and wisdom 'out there' basically are saying the same things.

I believe that I have found an answer, Yup the way to live life, so that it works for you. I have tried and tested it, I have transformed my life, anyone can, once they understand how it works.

We don't come in here with a blueprint of how to run our lives. We stumble along the well marked paths of 'how we should live' and 'how its always been done' and 'it's the right thing to do' the right thing to do is of course, different in different cultures. What is right for Moslem fundamentalists and suicide bombers is wrong for others who don't think that way.

And thinking is the key!!!

The way to understand how to navigate the terrain.

There will be hills, mountains, in fact to climb, and then when you get to the top and dance around the grassy fertile plains, happy and in love, like in The Sound of Music, the hills are alive tra la la........ happiness just everywhere, you think this is it, made it. It will always be like this. Right?

Wrong!!!! Everything is in cycles, hills and valleys, ups and downs, a time for everything in its season. When we have grasped this concept we will be on the way to understanding that change is all there is.

Life is the journey we embark on at birth and it ends with our death. This is an indisputable fact.
What we do during this time, is up to us, once we are out of childhood.

Life is every little moment and what we experience in this moment. It is a journey. You cant live it in the past or the future. It is not something we will get when we get more money, or when we get out of this relationship, or when we get the promotion. It is about living in the now. Life is about change, about growth about learning lessons, about experiencing and creating about loving. Especially about loving.

Love is the key. This is the most fundamental aspect to be grasped. It is the wellspring and source of existence. It is what our Creator, God, Source, Allah, Yaweh, or however you see God, consists of and what we have within each one of us. Religion divides us, but true loving spirituality that lies behind all the various world religions in its purest form is love. Love unites us. We are all united. Separation is an illusion we are currently living in. It doesn't have to be like that.

Without love, nothing has true meaning. Nothing will be sustained and nothing will grow. Love transforms everything. It changes our circumstances, and enables us to break through our problems. It offers us a way to escape from situations that entrap us, confine us, bewilder us, bring out the worst in us. Love will transform us and our world.
