Re: Attitude - Is Winning Everything?

OK, I need to call you out on your dogma right now before you hurt yourself or someone else. First of all, if you DON'T win despite your efforts, then what? Do you wallow in self-pity or exibit self-destructive behavior because you couldn't live up to your inflexible status quo? Second of all, if you really want to stick to your unbearable high standards, you must be willing to win at all costs, even if it means breaking a few laws--and bones. Or even worse, kill the opposition. If you are truly the type that believes winning is everything, you must perform the most morally unacceptible of deeds to prevent failure EVERY SINGLE TIME, which is humanly impossible.
To answer your question, the answer is no. True enough, losing hurts, but the benefit of losing is that you learn more than you would of you won so the next time you will not be defeated, and you will improve at an amazing rate and you would be better than you thought you would be.
