How To Handle Procrastination By Creating Momentum At Any Moment
By:Shawn Lim

Do you want to learn how you can handle procrastination by creating momentum at any moment that you wish? This is exactly what you are going to learn in this article. What you need to do is to read on and apply the techniques below.

Most people do not have the drive to take the action that will bring them to their goals and dreams. And this is the reason they are living in mediocrity. And now it is time to change. Below are the 3 powerful techniques that can help you to create momentum and overcome procrastination at any moment you wish...

1. In order to create motivation, you must have a strong reason. Do you know that motivation comes from the reason behind why you want to accomplish something? Just like a smoker who fails to quit smoking. If one day he discovered that if he did not stop smoking he will die of lung cancer, do you think that he will quit? Of course he would because he is now driven by a strong and emotional reason. Thus, you have to know your reasons as well.

2. Practice the power of focusing on the right thing. When you are asked to do your work, what pictures come up in your mind? Most people will imagine the process of doing the boring and mundane work. Successful people, on the other hand, focus and think about the outcome that they are going to get. This is what motivates them. When you think about the rewards that you are going to get, you will feel different and you will do it with different level of motivation.

3. Finally, leverage on the principle of momentum. It is always difficult to get it started, but once you get it started, it will be difficult to stop. For example, if you need to read for an hour and you feel like no motivation to do it at all. Just get it started and read for 10 minutes. After you did that, you will create the momentum and this will get you moving. You will have no problem reading for another 50 minutes. The key is to build up the momentum that will get you going.
