Achievement - Achieve Success Without Stress

The most success person today is the least stressed so does that not tell you something. We can achieve almost anything we think about provided we do not failures blog us down.

Find yourself a mentor - Preferably someone who has already achieved a high degree of success in your field. Never be afraid to ask. After there is nothing to lose and everything to gain. In addition to mentors take time to read biographies of great leaders that you admire.

Find inspiration wherever you can - read about people, talk to people, and master your business or craft. The belief that you can do it will make you actually achieve your goal. The only way to get rid of the fear of achievement is to try and finish the assignment, whatever the outcome.

Put your best foot forward - Always give your best effort to anything you do. Do not let fatigue or lethargy come in the way. If you are not upto it, just give it a pass and try the next time with your complete attention and energy.

Own it - Your goals and aims are your own, even if you get help along the way. Mentors take people under their guidance to encourage and teach and spiritual guides also help till a certain limit. But then you are on your own to achieve, hence it important to develop a sense of wisdom and knack to make decisions. Cooperate with everyone and cultivate your own self-respect. Follow creative criticism and advice only after you make a sound judgment.

Recognize progress - Mostly people rely on charts and reports to track success. This can be effective but it is best to not rely completely on them, because they tend to only look at extrinsic rewards. If you choose rewards to be part of your strategy choose rewards that are less materialistic. Go to a movie together or choose to party or dine out.

Make smart choices - first thing in the morning take time out to decide a few clever choices you would make today. Try not to make it complicated. Just note down a few things for example "I choose to not lose my temper today. Or I choose carry my lunch to office today". Then at the end of the day review your choices to see if you have achieved them.

Be honest - If for some reason you were not able to make the smart choice, don't whip yourself. Just accept that you have not been able to achieve it today and try again tomorrow. Congratulate yourself on completing your choices successfully.

Form a Positive People Forum - Find like-minded, positive and hardworking people who go about having fun with their success and failures in life. Become part of a group that has committed themselves to a plan to improve their lives for the better.

Surround yourself with activities, books and people that help you move towards achieving your goals. Always remember that you might not get there in a day, week, month or even a year, but it important that you keeping moving ahead. So the key to achievement is this question. "What do you want in life?" whatever is your answer to this question is your ultimate dream or destination. Play it in your mind every day, all day long until one day you wake up to see that you have achieved your dream.
