Motivation Tips

Use Fear for Fuel, Don't Be a Wuss - Let Fear Inspire You, But Never Be Your All
By:Magnus Ward

What's stopping you from "Manning Up" is the fact that you're desperate to be one...

Desperate is good. It'll move mountains. But ask yourself why you want to grow into a Man. It's probably because you're weak. You get picked on at school. You get nervous around strangers, colleagues, or even friends. You want to get women for validation. You don't want people to look down on you... Bullshit... Bullshit... Bullshit... All bullshit. You might as well surrender.

You're moving for the WRONG reason, so it's a crapshoot where you end up. Manhood never arises out of weakness. That soil is bad, radioactive, poisoned, nothing grows there. If you start wrong, you'll end wrong. Yeah, all those bullshit cliches are cliches for a reason. Because trying to be a Man is tainted by the fuel you're using to get there. The very essence of being a Man retreats from those wussy little goals and weaknesses you're using for your motivation. Like soap and oil, Manhood will retreat from your cowardly inner drive. Unless your motivations change along the way, then even if you do move forward, your needy reaction to success will catapult you back.

So you need to fix this before you do any more damage. The good news is, if you do progress towards Manhood in other ways, much of this will happen naturally. But you must be aware of it and act to change things. That's what this article is about. A Man doesn't sit around and let shit happen, he Acts. Learn to control your mind. This blog will help you start. Let go of girly-man motivation and grab onto something truly real. Why be a Man? Because it's your Best Self. Your were born with balls. You were born to produce far and away more testosterone than any women on the planet. Thus, you were born to be aggressive, to compete, to go after what you want. You were born to be the leader of a pack. To take possession. You were born to be great, and when you achieve this, it's where you will be the MOST fulfilled.

Don't ACT like a Man to GET something. Act like a Man because you recognize there's an irrefutable RIGHTNESS about it. Be unapologetically proud of moving in the right direction. Whatever the cause, and whatever other effects there may be, it'll be right. Do it and let the whole world resist you, it's meant to be, it's right. Let it be impossible, who gives a shit, as a Man, challenges are your bread and butter, they will feel right. People in your life resist your metamorphosis, it doesn't matter, you're moving in the general direction of Manhood, and it's right. And, more than anything, it's YOUR right.

Don't let yourself use safety, security, validation or any perceived inferiorities as motivation. Because you're gonna find it gets worse before it gets better. You'll lose validation as your motivation is incongruent with your growing Manhood. You'll feel more inferior because your standards are higher. You'll be insecure because you won't know the territory. And do I even need to tell you why you WON'T BE SAFE? If your reason for doing this is all of the above, it'll be harder than it has to be, because as soon realize things are challenging, that they seem to be "getting worse," you'll quit. Like a coward, you'll whine "I didn't sign up for this, I signed up for better! For something easier!"

Coward. Go die in shame. Or don't. Because you're a Man. Don't quit. Don't you ever friggin' quit. Take it like a Man, and a Man takes challenges like inspiration. It's bottled adrenaline. It's his ambrosia. The food of the Gods. Challenges are the FOOD of Men. We shout at the top of our lungs "Is that all you got!" And we don't end it with a question mark, because it isn't a question, it's a CHALLENGE.

A Man. Does. Not. Quit. He WANTS the difficulties, the challenges, the spilling of his own metaphorical (or real) blood. Being picked on, being looked down upon, being disapproved, excellent, more bullshit to push through. How strong will it make you, very strong.

A man doesn't do this because he's fearful, he does it because he's driven. Fear is not to be felt, it's to be challenged. Choosing because of fear, making fear your main priority, is wussy weakness and if a Man felt that, was "driven" by that, he WOULDN'T be a Man. I'm going to say that again, because it's DAMN important.

Doing it because you're scared is cowardice. Prioritizing fear is cowardice. And MEN are never cowards.

A Man moves towards difficulty. He revels in it. He's best in it. He's not scared of it, because he wants it. And because he's a Man, eventually, "it" turns tail and runs. Enjoy the hunt and

Just Be a Man.
