Learning to forgive can be one of the hardest things to do. If someone has hurt you it can be almost impossible to forgive that person. I'm here to tell you that you can learn to forgive and move on with your life. It's a process but with practice you can overcome it.

I learned the power of forgiveness from my husband. I learned how to achieve peace by watching my husband's actions. When he gets mad it's only for a minute and after he's through being mad, he will never bring the situation up again. He taught me to let people be who they are.

Holding on to past memories that wasn't so great can hurt you in the long run. It doesn't give you a chance to grow. When you let go of negative events that has happened it helps you to feel better and move on. I'm saying this from experience. I once use to harbor everything and I had a lot of crappy days. Harboring negativity really wears on your body physically. I noticed I use to keep a lot of headaches, but when I changed my thinking process, I noticed one day they were gone!

Whenever I need to overcome anything I recite little chants out loud. I wake up every morning and ask the Universe to help me learn how to forgive and show me how to love. I reassure myself that I can forgive and move on. Every time the situation pops into my mind, I release it and try and focus on something more positive.

Try and practice positive thinking. Try associating with people of like minds. Find inspirational sayings and books. Recite them in the morning while taking a shower and at night before you got to bed. By practicing positive habits, a lot of things that once seem hard will start to become a lot easier to overcome.
