Motivation Tips

Building Momentum To Build Your Life
By:Ronnie Nijmeh

Momentum is something that we all need. It keeps us going and gives us the rush that we need to attain our biggest dreams. If you have a hard time building momentum it may mean that you are having a hard time getting to the place in your life that you would like to be.

Momentum is akin to your inner drive or motivation to achieve your goals and dreams and if you are lacking momentum, you likely doubt your place in life. You can improve your life and begin building momentum so you can build your life by using positive affirmations.

How Positive Affirmations Can Help You Build Momentum

Affirmations are simply statements that express the way that you want to approach life, the way that you want to feel, or even behave. They can help you regardless of who you are, your age, your job, or where you live. When you use these affirmations to build momentum you are creating your own self-fulfilling prophecy. Why does this work? Momentum affirmations work because they help you change the way you think.

Worried that this is something that you cannot afford? You'll be glad to know that there are free positive affirmations that you don't have to pay a penny for and you can start using them just moments from now.

As I mentioned earlier, it doesn't matter who you are, everyone can benefit from momentum affirmations. Through these statements you are changing your responses to external situations, the way you behave, and the way you think. We all have an inner dialog and those of us that suffer from a lack of momentum, drive, or motivation, usually have a very negative inner dialog.

For example, how often do you negatively self-handicap yourself by saying something like: "I'm no good at this... I don't know what I'm doing... I'm not good enough..."

When you replace this negativity with positive affirmations you immediately begin to build momentum and work toward your goals.

Replacing negativity with positive affirmations is simple. You may start out needing to write your momentum affirmations on a piece of paper or even on your hand, but after a couple days you will likely have it memorized. Each time you begin to think negative thoughts you can replace them by your positive affirmations. When you continue to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts, the momentum builds and each time you repeat the affirmation the momentum builds again and again.

Many times being able to reach your goals and build a momentum to build the kind of life that you have always wanted is simply a matter of changing the way that you approach things. This is exactly what these affirmations do for you; they help you rewire your thought process so you become highly motivated and excited about making the most out of every moment. This process may feel foreign at first, but after a time living a positive life with positive affirmations it will be second nature and you will be better for it. Why not give momentum affirmations a try to see what they can do for you? You truly have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
