How Will Our Dream Happen?
By:Suzanne Bandick

Our dream may be to open a business, change careers, move to another country, travel the world, become independently wealthy, or any number of other wonderful things. It is really easy to dream it, but how can we make it happen? How can we make our wonderful dream come true?

It is not our job to know the "how". That makes things simple doesn't it? We don't have to figure that one out! Let's face it; figuring out "how" we are going to get or achieve something is the hardest part. That is what always stumps us. That is what usually stops us from even trying. We can be heard muttering, "How would that ever be possible for me?" Let's stop that talk! Because the "how" simply is not for us to figure out!

Our role is to decide what our dream is; then to focus on how it will feel for us to live it. Our job is to picture the end result of how our dream looks. How good are you at creating that image? Since that is our most important step to begin with, we better do as good a job of it as we can. Close your eyes and try to visualize it in all of its glorious detail - how does it smell? Can you touch anything? What sounds do you hear? Can you taste what you would be eating or drinking? What are you doing? Who is with you? What are you wearing? What do you see? You can even make a collage or write a page on what it would be like to be living it. Think about living it and how it feels once, twice or several times during every day.

Now you should have a very clear vision, what happens next? As we focus on living our dream, we will receive ideas and inspirations of little things to do every day - our only job is to do them - no matter how insignificant they seem. It might be as simple as picking up a paper, making a phone call or writing an email. As we do all these little things that come to our minds, we will be moving closer and closer to our dream. The biggest key is listening to our ideas and inspirations and not dismissing them as unimportant.

One day soon we will actually find ourselves living our dream, and as we stand there in the middle of all the beauty that surrounds us - we probably could never have imagined it would have happened like it did. We could have never imagined this "how" to living our dream. Even more interesting is that usually it was way easier than we could have thought.

Staying detached from the "How" allows our dream to happen faster. Now you can say, "I don't know how, but it's going to happen!"
