The Dreaded Workload
By:Stanley Lai

In the world we live today, we all have something we are dreading:

Work, bills and the lack of time for oneself

Many people are still dreaming of a wholesome life, with wealth, health and lots of quality time. But, in reality, you awake, and go off to work, daily.

Yet there is a minority of people who always seem to be ahead of all. This small group of people seems to be living the luxurious lifestyle of having meals, at usually unaffordable locations which you only patronize on festive seasons or special occasions. Dread it.

In retrospect, children stories seem to portray life in our future, as a beautiful one.

So, now you only feel saddened by the facts you take into consideration; the news programs report more bad news than good ones. This is dreaded news.

You start to think, is everything going that bad, is this situation going to improve, change? Well, the answer is definitely not in your mind, YET.

You do not have the ability to change the world in a day, unless, you are in a position to do so. Stop dreading, start doing something, for yourself as a start, and change other things, later on.

So, live on, live with it?

You can sit by the side of a river and let the water flow on freely, or make a barrier, like a dam. The question arises, how long can you sustain this level of stability? The flow of dreaded activities and news, comes into your life if there is a leakage

That is a risk; you take to change your lifestyle and even try to make things occur in a more positive manner; with respect to your style of doing, thinking and living.

I procrastinated for some time, a long time, you too?

Why do so, fall like me, get up later, and look at the mess created earlier. This is one dreaded fact; Things do not change until you begin changing it. Do it, even though it is a long process

No, you may change things for the better, especially for yourself. You subconsciously know what to do for a better life.
