Motivation Tips
The latest researching has shown that people are afraid of communicating. The reason why people are so afraid to communicate is because they are afraid to let someone in their inner world. They underestimate themselves and are afraid that others will judge them.
There is actually nothing frightening about communicating. It is a very pleasant skill everyone has to and can learn. The way you talk and communicate determines your success.
I want to share some tips that will help you to improve your communication skills.
First of all set a goal to start communicating and create an inner motivation to achieve that goal. You have to realize how many benefits you will enjoy by achieving this goal. You could use the affirmation that will remind you about your goal every day, like: “I can communicate confidently with everyone I like”.
If you feel the tension when you begin the conversation, try to relax. By relaxing your body you will relax your mind. Try to breathe deeper. The more oxygen you get, the more relaxed your muscles become.
You can become a great communicator using these simple tips:
Listen more. The main problem why most communications fail is inability to listen. Communication is a double sided process. How can you respond if you do not listen and comprehend?
Ask different questions, which can not be answered with simple yes or no. Begin your questions with “why”, “what”, “where”. Find out the details. Become interested in what the person is talking about.
Never interrupt the person you are talking with. Even if he or she has stopped talking use the pause to be sure the theme is really talked out.
Repeat what you have heard and ask questions to show that you have really been listening.
If you talk think first. Don’t just shoot everything out. Organize your thought in a very simple way to comprehend. Talk as simple as possible.
Smile. The more you smile the more attention you show to other person. Use your mimics and be more emotional.
Try these easy tips that always work. Remember that you have everything you need to communicate, so just begin practicing. Practice, after all, it is the only way to master the skill.
