Motivation Tips
Do you constantly doubt your own capability? There are many people who do, and the amazing thing is that your problem may be caused by a passing comment spoken years ago by a friend or family member. This comment may have stayed with you and become embedded in your subconscious to affect you for years to come.
Low self esteem can be a reason you cannot achieve a lot of what you hope to. This isn't because you aren't capable, but because you have programmed yourself to believe what others have said to you. These comments have dragged you down and stopped you blossoming into the wonderful you!
To change the way you are, you will have to try and change the attitude you have about yourself. Do you see yourself as unworthy? Do you assume people don't like you? The way you have programmed your mind affects how you are. You have to realize that you do have the power within you to change your thought pattern.
Life will improve when you start to have positive thoughts about yourself. Tell yourself often how capable, or how confident, you are. Look at what you have achieved in your life. If you stop to think about this, you will see just how capable you are without even being aware of your talents!
Decide today to start liking yourself. It's so important that you do. If you don't, how can you expect anyone else to like you? Value yourself as a person. Say to yourself "I believe in myself" or other positive affirmations that suit your situation. Repeat your special affirmations often. Become determined to uproot the negative comments and replace them with words that help you to grow.
Think about the type of person you want to be. Do you want to be liked and respected? You can be. You need to believe this is possible. If you don't believe, then how can you ever become this way?
Why not tell yourself that you deserve good things to happen in your life? Put into action the things you have wanted to do but think you're not capable of doing. How can you know you aren't capable if you have never given yourself the chance to try?
What's stopping you from trying? You are. Don't let the negative comments win! You are responsible for what you have achieved in your life. It's as simple as that. You are responsible for you.
Whatever it is that you want to do, give it a try. You might not succeed the first time. This does not mean you aren't capable. Try again, and again, if necessary. Believe in yourself. You will discover just how capable you are and have always been.
Give yourself the chance to prove how much ability you have.
